The cast and crew before opening night at the
New York International Fringe Festival

David Ari(Menteith, Fleance) is a recent graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company's Professional Training Program. Recent projects include: Sexual Perversity in Chicago, The Gas Heart, Hurlyburly, Midnight and Morning Rain, and Welcome to the Moon. Special thanks to Marcia, Adina, Garry, Linda and little Zachary Ross.

Richard S. Bach(Duncan, Donalbain, Third Murtherer) has performed over the centuries in venues around the globe. Favorite stops: Mato Grosco at the Teatro Municipal Rio de Janiero, Tilt and Fuze at La Mama, and here with Cannon Co. Special thanx and love to my fellow cast persons, the Michaels, Mauri, Ingrid, Jordan, Princess and Gloria.

Sarah Bernstein(Violin), a Cal Arts graduate, is currently palying jazz and rock around the NY club scene. In the fall, she will begin studies for her MFA in Jazz at Queens College.

Mark Briggs(Banquo) is grateful to play this part a second time in the company of Cannon Co. Special thanks to Richard and his three hour auditions.

Dan Cohen(Macduff) is making his NY debut as an associate of Cannon Co. He holds a BA in Theater from San Fransisco State, with regional credits including the tiltle role in Hamlet, Undershaft in Major Barbara, Orestes in Tadashi Suzuki's Clytemnestra, Wesley in Curse of the Starving Class, and Geoffrey in The Lion in the Winter. Directing credits include The Bacchae and The Ghost Sonata.

James Crane(Angus, Seyton) is thrilled to make his NY debut with Cannon Co. He recently moved from Atlanta, where he appeared in Romeo and Juliet (Barking Dog Theater) and As You Like It (Soul-stice Rep). He'd like to thank his friends and his family.

Tim Cusick (Malcom) is a member of Cannon Co. and has worked with Richard on numerous projects. This is their first play! Recent NY credits include Egyptology and Drop at NADA and A Dream Play and Mag Mor at Columbia. Tim holds a BFA from NYU/TSOA. Special thanks to Sonoko and the Diva.

Andrew Garman as Macbeth


Andrew Garman (Macbeth) is a member of Cannon Co. His eight-year collaboration with Richard includes Black Friday, Bob, "words, words, words,", Endgame, American Buffalo, What Where, and Grapefruit Detective. Other NY credits include Trojan Women (En Garde Arts) and Three Classics (La MaMa); Chicago credits include Under Milkwood, The Promise, and As Far As Thought Can Reach. This fall he will play Vershinin in Cannon Co.'s Three Sisters.

Kate Hall (Second Witch) last worked with the California Shakespeare Festival. This is her NY debut.

Richard Kimmel(Adaptor/Director) is Artistic Director of Cannon Co. Directing credits in New York, London, Boston and Atlanta include: Black Friday, "words, words, words," , Bob, Grapefruit Detective, Endgame, The Tooth of Crime, American Buffalo, Intolerance, Twelfth Night, Sexual Perversity in Chicago, and Believe It. He has assisted Joseph Chaikin, as well as Anne Bogart and SITI. This fall he will direct Paul Schmidt's translation of Three Sisters for Cannon.

Donnie Maher (Cawdor, Ross, Porter, Second Murtherer) was last seen in the solo piece How Are You? in this year's American Living Room Festival. Other NY credits include The Bridge Dove (Mabou Mines), The Seven Deadly Sins (City Opera, directed by Anne Bogart), Trojan Women (En Garde Arts, directed by Tina Landau), and American Inference I (International W.O.W. Comapany).

David McCamish (Lennox, First Murtherer, Doctor), a Kentucky native, has performed regionally throughout the southeast. He recently completed a national tour as Henry in The Fantastiks. Recent NY credits include "Spin" in CRG's premiere of Tunnel Vision, and the Duke in Two Gentlemen in Verona. He recently made his film debut as a terrorist in Path to Paradise. David would like to thank his family for all their love and support.


Lady Macbeth and Macbeth at Benefit Performance
with Holly Natwora as Lady Macbeth


Holly Natwora(Lady Macbeth, Lady Macduff) is a member of Cannon Co. She bagan working with Richard and Andrew two years ago on an offbeat new one-act called Bob and is delighted to re-examine the classics with Cannon. A native Californian, Holly moved to New York eight years ago after completing her BFA at Ohio State. Locally her work has been seen at HERE, the Nat Horne Theater, Theatre Off Park, and La MaMa. This fall, she will play Masha in Cannon Co.'s Three Sisters.

C. David Russell(Set Design) is a Cannon associate in his final year at NYU pursuing his MFA in set and costume design. Credits there include sets for Three Sisters, The Prince of Homburg, sets and costumes for Pains of Youth, and costumes for Waiting for Godot. Other credits include sets for Trouble Down Below (Agean Theater Co.) and If We Are Women (Willamstown Theater Festival). David has also worked asa props artist for Arena Stage and Santa Fe Opera for the past five years.

Nick Smith(Tabla) has traveled extensively throughout India, studying Tabla with Shubankar Banerjee, a fine player of the Farukabad gharana (style). Over the past six years, he has studied locally with Misha Masud and Kinar Sen, the latter an outstanding musician of the Punjab style. He plays with the raga-influenced band Sadhu Tree.

Mia Theodoratus (Music Director, Harp) has performed on electric and acoustic harp with such jazz luminaries as Charlie Haden and Roscoe Mitchell. A graduate of Cal Arts, she now plays with Vardo, an eclectic improvisational ensemble seen locally at the Knitting Factory, Coney Island High, and Luna Lounge.

Nitza Wilon First Witch is a member of Cannon Co. She began working with Richard, Andrew, and Holly on Bob and has worked on numerous projects with the ensemble over the past two years. Her work for film and television includes roles in In Living Color and Walking and Talking. NY theater includes roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Love's Labors Lost, and Simone Machard in The Visions of Simone Machard. This fall, she will play Olga in Cannon Co.'s Three Sisters.
